Experienced, knowledgeable and caring
I have worked as a fertility specialist for over ten years, and as a Melbourne IVF fertility specialist I have access to the latest advanced reproduction techniques and fertility science.
I trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre, after receiving my medical degree from the University of Melbourne. I went on to further training at Monash IVF, Melbourne IVF and The Women’s Hospital, and later undertook further three-year sub-specialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), the highest qualification in this field.
I’ve treated all aspects of female and male fertility issues, but my special interests are in IVF, endometriosis, male infertility, PCOS and age-related infertility. I have clinical responsibility for the Melbourne IVF Pre-Implantation Diagnosis (embryo biopsy) program, which helps patients who need specialised treatment involving screening of embryos for genetic diseases and chromosomal abnormalities.
Fertility is a very personal and individual part of health. That’s why I like to get to know my patients and hear their stories – it helps me tailor my care to your needs. I’m happy to consider complementing my medical approach with other treatments you may feel comfortable with, such as naturopathy or acupuncture.
As a fertility specialist with Melbourne IVF, I am able to support my patients throughout their journey and manage every aspect of their experience. I do all ultrasounds and procedures myself in our East Melbourne Specialist Day Hospital and consulting rooms. In a time when emotions are sometimes running high, having a familiar face there throughout the treatment helps my patients feel at ease.
